Creating a request for quote

An RFQ can be started from scratch, from a Dr. Review drawing, or imported from a spreadsheet or pasted email. Each RFQ carries the drawing, quantity, target dates, and any process lanes the job needs (e.g. machining, finishing, inspection).

Choosing suppliers

You can send an RFQ to:
  • A single supplier you already work with
  • A shortlist assembled manually
  • Your full supplier directory, for competitive bidding
Each process lane on a job can be assigned to a different supplier, so a single order can be split across machining, finishing, and inspection specialists without losing a single thread of visibility.

Privacy

RFQ visibility can be scoped per order — private to invited suppliers only, workspace-visible, or fully open — and part identity is never exposed to a supplier ahead of an accepted bid.
